About Modclair

About Us:

Modclair was founded by two friends with a passion for modern & regency furniture and an eye for pop/street art. The duo has over two decades of retail furniture sales and design experience. 

During this time while designing homes, hotels and commercial spaces they would consistently run into two major problems:

1. The limited amount of furniture options available at any one store.  

2.   It was extremely difficult to find modern accessories and art that fit their design philosophy. 

Knowing they could not be the only people going through this problem, they decided to open a boutique in Upper Montclair. The MODCLAIR look merges the best modern & regency brands with pop art, street art, vintage furniture, memorabilia, cultured items and one of a kind pieces.
